Install Dension Gateway 500 in Boxster Limited Ed

Recommended Posts

Hi there

I'm from Switzerland and need help for installing a Dension Gateway 500

I'm driving a Porsche Boxster S Limited Edition in Orange, this car is bought in USA (Indiana) and was shipped to Switzerland.

If I check under VIN Code Checker i see -> "I689 Preparation for CD autochanger"

I've search for this MOST-Cable but couldn't find it.

here some videos

Maybe there is no cable? any other solution?

Hi, I installed a Gateway 500 on a Cayenne S and a Gateway Lite on my Boxster S. In both cases, I connected to the MOST system by pulling out the head unit (in the case of the Boxster the CDR24). For the Cayenne, the dealer had to program the head unit to recognize an external CD player. You must power the unit from the head unit so that the Dension receives constant power.
