Can I replace my blown 3.6 w/3.8?

Recommended Posts

Can I replace my 3.6 in my 996w/Tiptronic with a 3.8 from a 997? I know Roock says he can, but which is better - rebuild the original 3.6 with bigger pistons, etc., or buy a 997 engine? Anyone with experience in this? I'm in San Francisco.

STAY AWAY FROM :censored: ROOCK! You will be so sorry if you let him touch your car. He uses "used Parts" has questionable techs, terrible workmanship and lies, lies , lies. He is your worst nightmare. Please do not give that Grifter your money.:censored:

Call L & N Engineering and ask them about Roock.. They will not even do business with him..

Trust me on this one. P.M me and I can guide you to some good shops. Sharkwerks isn't too far from you are they?

There are a lot of people out there who are honest and do good work. ROOCK fails miserably on both accounts..

You have been warned...
