Plug for GT3 front bumpercover - Dealer can't find the part

Recommended Posts

So, I replaced my GT3 front end after my GF had a bit of an off at a winter driving camp. Got everything back together except for the plug that goes in the center hole on the fender. The GT3 has an opening here for the center radiator. I haven't got a radiator there so I don't need the hole. The old part has this number:

The dealer can't find this part and they even emailed Porsche in Germany that said this part-number isn't in their system... Any ideas?

Porsche only sells the whole bumper assembly with the plug in place. So the new bumper should have come with one.

If not then try to find someone local that has done the 3rd radiator update on MY01 or older car and get it from them.

Pulling the front end on the GT3 to get at a dead horn... found the dust boot on the front strut torn.  Has anyone replaced one of these?  I had a competition suspension set up from Jae Lee at Mirage in San Diego and don't want to mess it up, but need to replace the boot.  Can I just remove the mounting at the top and drop the suspension and replace the boot from the top?  ANy help on this is greatly appreciated!

This is a must see for those who want to replace their own air filter on Panamera.
Does not look hard at all, just takes some time.
Also very useful if bumper removal needed for other reasons.  Hope this helps out.

Looking to choose R-SPEC tyres for my GT3.
Only doing club level track days, not full circuit racing or Targa rallies.
Will use my R-specs on a dedicated set of BBS rims, leaving road tires on my standard rims.

Some say the Yokohama A050 is the ultimate and obviously its top dollar.
What do people think is the best “bang for your bucks” value option? including from the following:
      -Yokohama AD08 or V105
      -Dunlop DZ03G
      -Hankook z221
      -Kumho V70a
      -Toyo R888
      Appreciated and regards to all

After recently buying a 955 with the V8 which is whisper quiet with a full history, I decided it was a good idea to change the oil, filter and the plugs as it had only moved 400 miles in six months.
The oil was a suggested Mobil 1 0w40 and the plugs are as identified by the reg plate.
However, the Bosch super 4's that came out were R6 (resistance) and the BERU 4's were R5.
ive not noticed a loss of power - but HAVE noticed a drop in my mpg figures.
from 17-19 down to possibly 13-14.
anybody else experienced this, the oil level is correct with a quality synthetic filter by K&N and the spark plugs were torqued to just on 22 ft/lbs.
appreciate any feedback on your experiences.
