Installed 996 Window Regulator but....

All is working correctly except that the window will not go all the way down past the window seal. Remains about 1inch visible from the door. I followed the directions on pelican parts and bombay digital.

If I look at the right hand side bracket it hits the stopper and does not have the ability to go down any more. glass placement looks ok and aligns correctly when the door is closed.

Any suggestions of what I missed?

Regards,

George

George,

Last december, I purchased a 2003 911 with the same exact problem. The window regulator had been replaced and the window would not go down all the way. The root cause was the stop for the boxster was installed on the window regulator. I removed this stop (screwdriver?) to correct the problem.
