Hi,

I'm about to buy a 997C4S Convertible Tiptro.

There is a phone system with Simcard tray, telephone and keypad.

Is there a solution to connect my iPhone (ideally bluetooth) to use the address book, to call, and to listen the music, all on the system?

If so I'd be happy to get rid of the handset unless it leaves holes.

Many thanks

I fitted a ViseeO Mosto Bluetooth kit to mine. Other options are Tooki and mObridge. The reason I bought the ViseeO is that I found it on eBay, and bought it for £80, which is a bargain as they are over £300 new. It works very well with my iPhone. Although I only use it for phone, it is supposed to work fine for A2D music streaming. I have an iPod in the car for music, with a Nav-TV interface.

Loufian,

You didn't mention what year car you were buying. That being said, if it is a pre-owned car and still has factory warranty or a CPO, be careful because if something goes wrong, you could void the warranty or CPO warranty. I was looking at an 08 C4S before buying my 08 C2S and the C4S didn't have a CPO and when I asked the dealer why not he said it was because the PO added aftermarket bluetooth to it. Chances are that there will not be an issue as many people have done this but just beware, that's all. Good luck with your new find.

Hi Guys, I am a new member of this community and I am very happy to be here.
My name is Mathias and I just bought my very first car. I am university student so I wanted a cool, sports car and as I live in Dubai, the weather is warm so a convertible was ideal. I have therefore just bought my first car, the Porsche Boxster, 2006. As this is my first car, and I have bought it as the 3rd owner. I have a lot of questions about how I should maintain the car, and hope you guys can help😎🏎

So first of all, it’s a Porsche Boxster in a beautiful red, with a black soft top, from 2006 that has driven approx. 80,000 km.
      it has a beige interior.

      1) the paint inside the car has scratches and shows the black color under the beige coating. How can I fix this?

      2) the speakers and radio signal is very poor and I want to be able to play music via Bluetooth and aux, is this possible?

      3) is it possible to set up Cameras in the car, for parking?

      4) there are scratches on the exterior, and I took it to the Porsche center, and they said they do not have a perfect match to this color as they don’t make it in this specific red anymore. Is there anything I can do?

      5) the leather inside is looking a little bit worn, is it possible to fix this up?

      6) lastly, is there any mods, DIY upgrades or accessories you recommend I to add to this 2006 Boxster?

My 2014 Cayman S with Bose has a right rear speaker blown. I ordered the part but can anyone point me in the right direction for its removal and reinstallation. I can't find anything on it. Thanks in advance.

I have an intermittent static issue. It seems to originate from my center speaker near the clock on my dashboard. When the suspension is lowered it it more prevalent but it also happens before I even start my car. There could be weeks between hearing it and other times it will go on for hours. I suspect I have a loose wire in the amplifier? Is this an issue anyone else has ran into?

Greetings all... Over in the Cayenne section there is a post about the PCM System error: UNKNOWN UNKNOWN UNKNOWN UNKNOWN UNKNOWN UNKNOWN UNKNOWN when starting the system up... no ultimate resolution but the consensus for the cause is a break in the line... I have a 2004 Turbo Cab and installed a MoBridge system and have had ZERO issues.  My Parents have a 2004 Turbo Cab where the previous owner went cheap with either the Nav-Tv adapter, the installation, or BOTH (But when you get an otherwise pristine Turbo Cab with 28,000 miles for $42K, you don't nickel and dime).  The installer unplugged the CD changer and pulled the plug off of the fiber optic wires (that plugged into the changer) using a line break splice to plug the two wires together instead of plugging in a loop per the NAV-TV instructions.  I bought both male and female loops so that I could put the vehicle cables into a new plug and install the other plug with the loop.  Since the issue isn't resolved (but the audio works so this has to be the "break") I have to assume it isn't getting a good connection.  Upon closer examination, the fiber optic cable ends on the loops are gold metal and shorter than the plastic ends in the car loop.  This end difference prevents the plastic ends from seating far enough into the plug to make a good connection.  Any advice on how to either replace the ends, or a part number for the original Porsche plug that I could match with a different loop?  I am thinking that Porsche probably have a plug that goes into the CD Changer MOST connector for vehicles that don't have the changer installed...Thanks!!

Hey guys and gals I have a 2010 Porsche Cayenne base and I’m having trouble connecting my IPhone 6S Plus to my PCM running software version 1.47. Now I know that Apple phones don’t accept the sim access profile, but I can’t figure out how to switch the PCM over to Hands free profile. I went to my local Porsche dealer here in Tucson, AZ today and  I told them that I had read online that they should be able to switch my PCM from SAP to HFP, but after 1 1/2 hours of trying they said that the couldn’t find how to switch it over. Any suggestions? Can it be changed using a durametric? Should I talk to another dealer in Phoenix? Any suggestion or insight will help. Thanks in advance.
