Brake rotors (Front & rear)

Recommended Posts

Hi guys;

My Boxster 2003, 2.7 will be out of hibernation in 2.5 months (I hope!). I'm planning to replace all 4 rotors before putting it back on the road. What rotor should I use? I did some reseach and found out that some people are using Zimmermann drilled one other tried them but had problems (warp). So what would you do? Staying with the Porsche one? Help please.

Tks

Thierry

I've had the Zimmermann drilled rotors (mine is an S model) for the last 3 years with no problems....I didn't know you could get drilled rotors to fit the base Boxster.

As an aside, it would be better to install the Zimmermann Z coat options as the top hats are coated to help stop rust.

R1 Concepts has drilled, slotted, and plain for just about anything. They have a few different manufacturers, but I've used the drilled Zimmerman on a Volvo and had great times with them.
