I love my LED tail lights also. I have a '99 and it had amber head lights and amber tail lights. I bought a set of clear head lights from eBay that really were in like-new condition. The car looks so different.

When we do a PPI on a car, we tend to list aftermarket lights, and particularly the headlights, as “deduct” items. Sure, the LED’s “look cool” and all, but from a maintenance standpoint aftermarket lights can be a real headache. We have seen everything from electrical issues (including damaged wiring harnesses), brake lights that don’t work properly, strange turn signal issues, to noise in the car’s audio system; and very often replacement parts for these lights are nearly nonexistent or very hard to obtain. We have recently seen some replacement LED headlight assemblies that looked like they were HID projector’s, but were actually halogens that put out less light than the factory units; and leaked water into the unit when the first time the owner washed the car. Sometimes even the installation instructions that come with some of these products are incomplete, make no sense, or are dead wrong.

So yeah, they look nice, but sometimes at a cost.

I love my LED tails. They are cleaner looking and brighter. The stock lights offer so little light exposure and I feel safer with them.

Headlights? No freakin way. Stock.

I agree with you on this, my rear LEDs always get positive comments but I have Facelift Litronic headlights and these are great as they are.

I have OEM, but I like the look of the LED tailights. I like the concept of the LED headlights, but the implementations that I've seen so far are lacking in aesthetics and quality.

Switching back to OEM in order to sell the car is a 5 minute job.

Do you think you would have liked the Red/Smoked or Red/Clear versions better, or do you think that the Dectanes are the way to go?

Also, I see that your signature says "Seinfeld" owned - don't you mean "Jon Voight"? ;)

Hahahaha yeah John V. Good one. I forgot about that episode.

I dont know what to about the lights. I would like to try the red ones I think. I want LED but dont want to sacrifice oem quality and looks. The company I got them from wants to charge me a restocking fee. I have to go read the fine print now. Fjahmgav$:@"!!!!
