Damaged Roof Trim

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I bought my very first Porsche on Saturday. I am in love with my beautiful car. She is fantastic, but she is second hand and has some small damage on the roof.

On the drivers side, just above the window, the plastic roof trim has small nicks in it. I can only assume that it got snagged as the roof was folded back at some point in the past.

Is it possible to have this trim replaced? If so, what is the part called and could I do it myself? (or rather get hubby to do it for me! :) )

Where would be best to source parts from? I should imagine that the dealer will charge me lots!

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Just for info, she is a UK 55 Reg (2005), has done 55000 miles and is utterly wonderful.

Terrible picture - taken in the dark and the rain - but I do live in the UK!post-84124-0-64448700-1347482658_thumb.j
