Hydraulic Fluid Reservoir Question...

If you look at the pic of the reservoir, you will notice there is no "cap" on the silver tube with the green tag attached. It looks like there is supposed to be some kind of cap. I have no idea if it was ever there (I just bought the car a month ago) to begin with. I assume it is some sort of a vent line for the reservoir, (perhaps with a special vented plug of some kind?) but the manual I have is vague, and doesn't mention anything relating to this piece. And, I don't know anyone else with another car I can just go look at. Any insights would be appreciated.

There is a black cap but loose and I thing it is only a breather port but not 100% sure.....

Yes there should be a cap on the tube. It's just a slip on black plastic cap. I would see if you have something to put on it until you can get the proper one.
