3/10/05: Got it! very very nice

3/10/05: Today is the day! I've been awake since 5:00 am wanting to go pick up the car. I tell ya dealerships need to be open at 5:00 am!

I've been lurking around here for a while now trying to decide if I was going to take the plunge and retire my '01 Corvette for something different. The decision has been made, the car found and the loan approved. So, sometime next week I will be the 3rd proud owner of a '99 Carrera 2 coupe. So now I'm just waiting till I get all the funds available to plunk down the full downpayment on the 'new' car. Hopefully next week I'll have that patented and tradedmarked 'perma' grin back on my face that comes with a new toy. The wait is killing me. I spend so much time reading the forum and browsing E-Bay for parts to add on once I get it, I hardly get any work done. Oh well, just another week or so.

Actually going to bed at 3:00 am is a little early for me. I work a later schedule at work so I normally don't go to bed until 4:00 am to 5:00 am. However that night I couldn't go back to sleep because of the anticipation of picking up the car. It made working the next night a real fun experience. I was nodding off every 30 minutes or so. Luckily at my job I can get away with it for the most part.

wow, 5AM and 3AM? you sure have some sleep issues...

then again, I remember I could't sleep either when I got mine!
