Help w/ stuck CD in PCM & other audio advice

Recommended Posts

Dear All,

Looking for Help w/ stuck CD in PCM & other audio advice.

Have a CD stuck in PCM. Will not eject. Plays the CD just fine. Getting tired of the same 8 songs :) I recently bought the car and the first CD I put in PCM is still in there.

Any advice on repair? Dealer had no advice except to replace the entire PCM, way expensive.

Add a CD changer, car does not have one? Best method for that is?

How can I add a ipod to the mix and skip the CD changer, and or sat radio?

Thanks in advance for any advice!!

My in-dash CD sometimes gets stuck, but it eventually comes out. I can get it repaired locally (not at dealer) for about $100, but have yet to do so...

I'm lucky that I have the CD changer, but I also added the Porsche iPod connector. Works fine, but only charges 3rd generation iPods. Some people prefer the after-market options (Dension is one), but I like to stay original. The installed Porsche set-up was about $600 - not cheap.

Here's a link for you:

Good luck.
