spoiler hack

Recommended Posts

hi all,

is there any link to fitting the 996t spoiler switch as a hack for the boxsters.

thanks.

Update: disregard found it...

While Im here i may as well save thread space and ask this here. On the 996's they had a provision with the outer mirror to dip down when you reversed. I assume this was so you could see the kerb and save the wheels. Is there any way we can have this system for a 986.... if so mine is a manual if that matters???

Just remember you have a RHD car and there are 2 different sided switches for the spoiler.  Also, the switch comes in gloss and matt finish.  You need matt for a model year 2004.

You need memory seats to do the mirror dip down reverse thing.

cool got the switch rhd and matt so were good to go. bummer about the rear mirror..... we have a few places were you paralel park but the kerbs are way high....... not wheel friendly...
