I just acquired some like new litronics headlights for my 99 C2.

I thought everything was just a plug and play install untill I ran into a problem.

Seems that once the litronics were installed, the left headlight small bulb stays on, along with the left side marker light.

If I turn the light switch in the car 1 click to the right, the right headlight small bulb cmes on and the left headlight goes out.

When I turn the light switch in the car all the way to the right, all the headlight and fog lights come on as they should.

When I turn the light switch to off (all the way to the left), the right headlight small bulb and right side marker light comes on again. Auhhhhh!

What is going on?

I assumed that the existing wiring would work fine with the new litronics.

I realize that all the functions of the litronics will not work without the retrofit wiring harness and control unit.

Please help!!

Are you saying the 'small' bulb is coming on when the switch is in position '0'? Just that if you turn ALL the way to the left (<) it puts the left parking light on, one click to the right, (>) the right parking light, another click, (0) Off, Another, (=DC=) side lights, finally all the way to the right (=D) dipped main beam.

(I hope that doesn't sound patronizing, I surely don't mean to be)

The non-Litronic headlamp does not normally have any power to it when lights are off, so I can't think of any other thing to cause this.
