I bought a used 2009 c2s pdk with 17K miles on it. The car drives beautifully,  except in the m-mode, when I shift from the 1st to 2nd gear, the rpm would go up to 4K before the 2nd gear is engaged. I am used to(2003 tiptronic)  change gear around 2500~3k rpm, but this c2s seems like having a mind of its own and takes the rpm to 4k every time. This only happens from 1st to 2nd, all other gears are fine.  Is this normal? Should I have any concern over this? Thanks in advance!

Are you sure you mean m-mode? In M-mode you need to upshift unless you hit the computer max. Perhaps you mean auto-mode?

yes, m-mode, manual shifting from 1st to 2nd at around 2500~2800, the rpm would jump to 3800~4k before it comes down to a 2k's level.

I think you need to get the codes read for the PDK. Sounds like it is slipping between changes. Mine doesn't change that way. A PIWIS is best for codes but a durametric will give you codes also.
