Is there any way to tell the difference between a boxster & a boxster S

on the outside besides the labels or the twin exhaust tips?

And is there a 2.5L boxster S

and could anyone help me with what kind of rims are on my car 19" with porsche centres.

My nieghbour has a 02 boxster and is swearing mine is a sport? ;)

Boxster S's almost always have red brake calipers, but some people paint them, too. They also have cross-drilled rotors stock, and they're larger. Boxster S's always have a 3rd radiator in the front. Those are the main exterior clues. Those wheels look like aftermarket, possibly Champion Motorsports RG5s.

more differences are that the S has silver trim around the windshield and a center radiator hole in the front bumper.

the S is only the 3.2 liter model made from MY 2000 onwards.
