How To Dismantle Driver's Seat To Replace Wiring Harness

My 2005 Boxster (987.1) Base has been triggering an airbag light since I bought it.  My durametric shows the code to be 8024 "Driver's thorax airbag short circuit to ground".  I can reset this fault code and it stays good for a while and them returns sometimes the same day and sometimes it may be a week but it always comes back with the same exact code. 

 

According to the TSB "Diagnostic Trouble Codes in Airbag Control Unit" found here under Boxster TSB's, this fault code is a ground fault or damaged driver's side backrest wiring harness and the solution is to replace the wiring harness.  I can get the wiring harness for about $70.

 

My question is, does anyone know how to replace this wiring harness or how difficult it is to replace?  Is there a DIY for how to remove the driver's side seat and how to dismantle the seat to get at and replace the wiring harness?  Any help would be appreciated.

The thorax airbags are in the seat side bolsters, so I would Imagine that you need to get under the leather upholstery to get at the harness.
