I have a 2007 C2S manual with about 132K on the odometer. A low oil pressure light has started to show up at idle after the car is warmed up. It seems as if the light is gradually coming on more frequently. The pressure gage on the dash reads around 0.5 bar when the light comes on. When the car is cold the starting pressure is around five bar and is about 3 bar at 3000rpm. As it warms up the pressure drops to about 2 bar at 3000rpm. I always run 0-40W Mobil 1 and change the oil every 5K miles. With the engine off and turning the key one click the pressure gage rises to about 0.1-0.2 bar.
Can anyone help me diagnose this issue? Would be a sensor or something mechanical?

I’m trying to troubleshoot a little issue I have that just my drivers door courtesy lights (and drivers sunvisor light but not sure if that’s different issue) don’t work, both the red and white ones and only the one door(rhd car)
now ive checked the common things like all the fuses and the wiring to see if they were damaged or corroded but they seem fine,
The one thing I would like to check but can not find any info on is where or what is the switch or sensor that tells the lights that the door is open to turn the lights on?
If I can find that then that will at least eliminate all manual fixes that I can think of unless any of you have come across this before, if it’s something simple and I look like a fool for not thinking of it then I’m happy to be a fool as long as the lights work:)

I was checking / fixing fuses, pulling them and putting new that kind of stuff and now my windows do not open and the front light are always on! The fuses are ok but I am wondering if by playing around maybe i messed up a relay or something! I tried to fix the fuses to what they should be, in the past the car ( used ) had fuses too big for what the chart called for, so for example i replaced a 30 for a 10 if a 10 was the one needed etc.
Hey everyone, i own a 2010 porsche Boxter 2.9L with the PDK transmission.. yesterday after leaving the car for a 4 days i started it and went for a drive.. when i turned it on again, i got a warning message “emergency transmission run” and the car became very jerky through gearshifts and wouldnt accelerate properly.. after turning it on and off the message went away and it drove just fine but then it kept re-appearing mid drives and becomes very jerky and clunky...ive noticed since i had the car that the gearbox was sometimes clunky or would make a noise when changing gear but the dealership said that was fine and normal since its a PDK, the car is at 59,000km so its time for a transmission fluid change... could this be a low voltage problem, or transmission fluid? The reverse gear works just fine.. has this happened to any other owners?
