X-posting from other forums as this seems to be a rare issue?
Car is 2010, C2, PDK
Has anyone had this issue?
I have read a post or two where people were just leaving things be.
Would appreciate getting any feedback on what could be the cause. I have checked the power steering fluid, and it was full.
The video is of the rack itself.

I have a 2001 Boxster S without all the bells and whistles. My column is jest equipped with the turn signal/high beam lever and the windshield wiper lever.
My signals work fine but I have difficulty getting my bright lights to switch on or stay on. I can occasionally get lucky and they will stay. If I push the lever back to brights position, they come one but once it clicks into place, the lights go back to low beams. Is this something I can fix by removing and cleaning the contacts in the assembly or do I need to replace the the whole thing? Thanks in advance guys and gals!
I had an unfortunate wintertime run-in with an enormous pothole at (US) interstate highway speeds (2000 Boxster). I dented the left rear rim pretty good and also blew the tire as a result. As soon as this happened, my Coolant Temp light started flashing at a slow speed. I've seen elsewhere the descriptions for the slow flash (i.e low coolant, coolant temp too high, or maybe engine compartment temp too high?). I'm somewhat new to this car (<9 mo. owner), so I'm not sure what I should check next. My coolant level is topped up just like usual. (I had the reservoir changed last fall). I see no leaks. The temp gauge is steady at 180° or so just like normal. Any ideas what I might have damaged when this happened? Is it happening on the left side a clue? I have a Durametric which I will connect when it warms up in a few days. Just curious what I might be up against. Thanks in advance.
