c4s difference in responsiveness

I have a 2011 c4s with about 16000 miles. Last week I got the "transmission emergency run" error and took it in to the dealer. The dealer

game me a nearlly identical (except for interior and sports exhaust) car for a loaner. This loaner car is much more responsive and quicker than my car. The dealer has no explanation. What could be the cause of this difference?  The accelerator on this car is a lot easier to press , as though the spring tension is lighter, than my car

 

Any ideas?
