Cruise Control light bulb for Boxster S

Recommended Posts

I have a 2002 Boxster S Tiptronic. I just retrofitted my Boxster with cruise control as it didn't come with cruise from the factory. The cruise control works great. The only thing is the cruise control light doesn't come on. After much research and deliberation it appears that the cruise control indicator bulb needs to be replaced.

The part # I need is the light bulb for 3B on the picture below.

You need to remove the cluster and remove the bulb to test and confirm. Bulbs on the bottom row are 12v/1.2W (3-way bulb in black plastic holder). All of the bulbs in the bottom row can be removed with a screwdriver or (easier), a 6mm hex socket.
