Wheel Speed Sensor Pulses Per Revolution

How many pulses per revolution does the 997 wheel speed sensor produce? This is determined by the number of teeth in the rear wheel carrier that is used for the ABS sensor.

It looks like 45 or 48 teeth is fairly standard. I tried to measure carefully and came up with either 48 or 49 pulses per revolution (its hard to get the rotation exact). Does anybody know for sure what it is?
