04' Carrera 4 Convertible top hydraulic leak

Recommended Posts

I had a new motor installed last year to a hefty tune and now my mechanic told me my hydraulic line/reservoir is leaking and there is no hydraulic pressure. The motor had a warranty on it. My question is, is the hydraulic system part of the motor? Since I live in a different state, could I get the Porsche dealer here to cover the repair?

Unless there was something to clearly indicate that they did something wrong with the original repair.  More likely it's just an unfortunate coincidence.  We are talking about parts that are 13 years old and things wear out and break and leak.

I take it that you are a Four Winns boater?  Me too :-)

Yes! Have the only 2000 Sundowner with an outboard. It was originally the factory safety boat for 14 years. Bought it directly from 4W in Cadillac Mi.
