Fixed Spoiler Brake Light Issue

Recommended Posts

Hello

My new to me 05 C2 Coupe came with a fixed wing with no brake light on it.  the shop that did the install hacked the harness to bits...

I took it to my indie this morning to program the car to fixed wing.  the alarm at 75 mph is gone but the warning about the raised brake light remains on the cluster.  the third brake light on the body is not working at all.

Thoughts?

Sounds like you need someone that can read wiring diagrams and wire it as it should be.

Find another shop would be my advice - this one is not rocket science.

Loren may I please imoose on you to suggest the correct wiring? I tried the splicing I found on other threads and it didn't work. My indie plans to splice into the body mounted brake light harness and I'd like to make sure that's the right plan.

Thanks!
