Hello gang! I’ve done numerous repairs with the help of the forum, and for that I thank you all! Now it’s my turn for a question:

2006 Cayenne Turbo S-

PCM screen shows “Limit Exceeded” the first time I shift into reverse after starting the engine. If I drive then back up again, it doesn’t happen. Anybody have any ideas? I do NOT believe it has the back-up camera. Park assist is present, but front sensors are ‘bad’ so it just shows red bars right now (unless I remember to turn it off). Any input would be greatly appreciated!

That is designed to pop up when exceeding the "MPH-LIMIT" selection on the "MAIN MENU" that you can access using the windshield wiper stalk. There is a toggle in there to turn that off. Is yours activated?

I thought that was on the dash display? I will double check and see though... I don’t think I’ve got any of those limits set.

I am wrong. The one on that you're seeing on the PCM display is turned on via the TRIP button.

BINGO! Found a check mark in one of the speed limit ‘active’ boxes. Selected it, in-checked it and problem solved. I had checked all the screens because that was my first thought, I just missed the little check mark because it was the one that is highlighted automatically when you go into that menu. Slowly figuring out all the little details!!

Thanks guys! On to my next project!
