Is an alignment required after replacing front sway bar end links?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

The topic says it all, is an alignment required after replacing sway bar end links?

Well, maybe not all... is there a recommended brand for replacement to keep close to stock?  I was thinking TRW, about $35/ea, from pelican, but am open to suggestion.

Thanks!

If i had worked on anything on front end I would perform an alignment. The suspension, links etc. are so sensitive to any movements and for what an alignment cost i wouldn't hesitate.

I don't know what an alignment costs where you're from, but it's anywhere from $300-$450 for me... Obviously, it's not going to break the bank, but it's certainly not something I'd do unless it was actually necessary. When changing/replacing drop links, it's not necessary. Just make sure there's no static loading of the sway bar on level ground and you're all set...

"they have no influence on the adjustments."
