Yay i know...n its kinda troubling to refilling oil n installation..thats ehy i wanna make it back to basic.. how about the y pipe?

Can't tell from your photos, but that one may be the factory unit.  In any case, the sale of aftermarket intake pieces for these cars grossly overstate their performance enhancements; the factory pipe is just fine.

Ya im sure thats not the stock airbox. Its an aftermarket one with k&n filter... as long as the y pipe is stock, then its pretty simple that i get the original airbox and fit it in ? Thank you

I don't know how simple it is...not sure what was ripped out to put that monstrosity of an air box in.  I'm kind of surprised you haven't been having MAF problems.

What will happen if MAF problem occurs pls?

Yes, typically there will be codes.  Sometimes these appear as ABS/PSM codes....but sometimes the car just runs poorly.  In any case you should have the codes read on your car with  Porsche specific code reader (e.g., Durametric, PST2, PIWIS).  Those circular filters tend to disrupt airflow over the MAF causing voltage spikes in the MAF.  Sometimes killing the MAF or sending strange signals to the ECU.

Thanks for sharing..a very good lesson here. I dont hv any code reader n my engine light is always on due to the high flow exhaust... im about to install o2 sensor spacer fir these post cat o2 sensor n decode it ..

Other than that..my car look fine

is it a good idea to chg the k&n to bmc filter? at least its dry and should be better for avoiding MAF issue?

Due to the oem price for the air cleaner (996 110 021 70) is a bit crazy it sound...i think im not really going into it..

Of course it's your call.  You might be able to find a used stock intake on ebay or somewhere.  I thought the BMC filter is also lightly oiled.  I can't speak for you, but if it were me, I'd get rid of whatever the heck you have in there.  Two issues with the MAF...potential oil contaminating the MAF or turbulent airflow.  I have used a BMC filter for 15 years with no issues.

No real performance gains unless the ECU has been  flashed too but it will sound slightly different

I have the EVOMS setup in my 996TT running Garret K24s & AWE 3” exhaust and custom tune
