03 C4S Coupe - Popping Sound from Door Speakers

Brother, recently It appears I have lost sound/power from all my Speakers in my C4S, at times depending on music, I will hear a popping sound or high distortion - I checked the Amp, ensure all wires were tight and grounded, any ideas? With 4 Kids in college, I cannot afford to replace all with another unit, any thoughts or comments are greatly appreciated

Amp in front in spare tire well?  Factory set up or after market?

check wiring at back of Becker 23 in dash as well?  Maybe pull footwell panels to look. 

If not loose wires, likely a transistor or component in the amp unit
