997.1 2005 drivers electric mirror problem

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

iHello Guys ,

Greetings from Greece ,

currently I have an issue with my drivers side electrical mirror .

When locking car and then after a 10 minutes unlocking back  (before put the key into ignition) drivers side electrical mirror starts tilting upwards non stop for about 10-15 seconds .

any idea what can be this ?

Looking forward

thanks

Haris

PS

forgot to mention it started some hours before my battery died and but still continues after replacing old battery with a new one.

The mirror positions are stored in the seat memory module under the drivers side seat.  In other words, the mirror positions are programmed along with the memory seat positions.  When you unlock the vehicle with a key fob that is programmed to the car, the seat and mirrors return to a preset programmed position for that key fob.  Follow the steps in your owners manual for resetting your memory seat and mirror positions.
