I have an 02 Boxster S with an ignition problem that ran the battery down. Ignition was an ez fix, however do not have the proper radio code.

Type:CDR 220

Model:4462

Serial:15003740

If you could provide a code for this radio, it would save me a trip to the local dealership.

Thanx

Hello, new to site, have had my Boxster for a little over a year now, Have an ignition switch problem, which I have researched and think I know how to fix, but it means disconnecting the battery, thus loss of radio codes. I did not receive the codes with the car. I went to this site to detemine how to obtain the serial number (very helpful) I think I am providing the required info to obtain this:

Model Year: 1998

Model Engine: Boxster 2.5

Transmission: 5 Speed

Interior Color: Black

Country: US

Radio Model: 3297

Serial Number: W5022135

Please help.

thanks

tony
