Need help getting a code too. Here's our info.

Becker 1

Type: 4462

Serial# Y5038582

24/99

2001 Boxster base

Thanks much

If the code works, what happens? Does the radio work right away?

I tried both codes and it doesn't seem to have worked. Even got the "wait" code and had to wait an hour. Tried the codes again and keep getting prompted to enter again.

How many times should you enter the code?

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

Can you please provide the radio code for:

1999 Carrera

CDR-210

PR-VER5 R 3297

T5001403

There is also a long serial # on the back of the removable faceplate. Would that be of any use?

Many thanks!

Craig

From the Lost Radio Code FAQ

Can you give me a code for my PCM (or Traffic Pro)?

Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM (or Traffic Pro) code is from a dealer/OPC.

New to this Forum. I just got my 1999 Boxster out from winter storage, and the battery was dead. Now the radio wants a

four digit code. The radio is a CDR-220, type is 4462 and serial number is Y5061126. The first letter may be an X, my

display isn't 100%. Hopefully you can help me. Thanks in advance.

Follow the instructions in the FAQ. Still didn't work.

I called the dealer and obtained a code from them as well. Still didn't work.

Seems if no codes work on the radio, then the radio itself, per the dealer, is defective.

So, looks like I need to replace my CDR 220.

Thanks for the previous help and posting of the FAQ.

Did you get the serial number through the radio display?

Many times a tech changes out a radio and forget to change the code ID card too.
