Lost Radio Code - post your request here

Recommended Posts

Hi, this is the second time I've replaced the battery in 2000 Boxster. The first time the unlock code (0189) worked fine. This time though, I cannot even get the radio to power on! I tried holding down the power key for a few minutes and nothing! Help-how do I get the radio to turn on? Thanks so much!

Please post radio problems in another thread - this thread is for lost codes only.

Check the fuse on the fuse panel and the fuse on the back of the radio.

I have a 2002 C2 Cab tiptronic US and I had to disconnect the battery. I tried to enter the code that was listed when I used my Durametric software. The code displayed was 1024 and that did not work.

I have the Becker CDR220

4462

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the fast response. The codes I entered didn't work (1065 or 1063). At the enter code prompt all I should do is enter the 4 digit number 1 time or am I doing the procedure wrong? I did try to enter 1065 then the enter code prompt came back and I entered 1063 and the enter code prompt came back again and I entered 1065. The WAIT message appeared after 3 attempts to enter the code.

Thanks again,

Bosco

Hi, a request from England.

Got my Boxster 986 2001 out of the local garage (they fixed some electrical issues), and the radio was reset. As I bought the car second-hand, I was never given the code, so now I am stuck.

Following your instructions I got the following:

Porsche CDR-22

Becker 1

Type 4467

Serial Y5035863

Your help with the code is really appreciated.
