HI, Loren. I'm getting ready to work on the car but am hesitant to disconnect the battery as I don't have my radio code. Would you mind checking what mine would be? My CD-220 info is as follows:

type: 4362

serial number: Y5021118.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Loren,

Had to replace the ignition lock and switch assemble (great DIY by the guys here - I went the instrument cluster removal route), therefore, I disconnected the battery resulting in the need to enter the radio code. I soon found out that I did not have the radio code with my manual set. So, if you would so kind, I would greatly appreciated it.

Becker CDR - 220

Type: 4462

SN: 15062306

24/99

Thank you, Rob

From the label on the side of the radio...

Typ: CDR-220

Model-No.: BE 4462

Serial-No.: X5021458

Radio lost its brains and displays **** after I replaced my battery.

Can you send me the code? Thanks!!!

Interesting... radio keys I purchased to pull my daughter's radio in the VW Beetle also work for my car! Maybe I shouldn't be surprised.
