Lost Radio Code - post your request here

I have a 2000 Carrera with a CR220. Radio sn is 4362EYDY5022320 or has a short number of Y5022320. I have not disconnected the battery yet so can I get the radio code myself? If not can you please provide me with one before I disconnect the battery? Thanks.

Hey guys and gals this is my first post and my first Porsche. I have a 2002 boxster and the guy that worked on my car disconnected the battery and now I am getting the wait wait and wait some more on the radio. I guess I have two questions.

1. the first is of course what would the code be.

here is the info I got from following what you guys suggested.

Becker 1

type 4362

24/99

sn1 = 15002867

2. and the next would be once I have the code how do I get back to the point of entering the code. don't know how to get past the wait status.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Mike Ray

Please do not double post - that violates the Guideline lines/Rules you agreed to when you registered here

"Please post your messages in one forum only. Crossposting, double posting, triple posting, etc. are all a waste of time and valuable resources. If you post the same message in multiple times or in multiple forums, we will delete the ones we feel are inappropriate."

You can find the answer to the "wait" message in the Lost Radio FAQ - Please read it.

For you radio try the code: 6798
