Hi Loren,

I just found out after replacing the battery (3rd Owner) that I need a radio code. Everybody says you are the guy to talk to.

Hello there - new to the site, great to see so much help on this odd topic. 2nd owner of the car, I got every piece of paper under the sun for it with this one exception ( i know of)...radio code:

2001 996 carrera 4, porsche cdr 220

Was not aware of this feature when I changed the battery in my recently purchased Boxster.

Yes Loren we tried this last year as well with no results...I did follow the directions and get Y5039185...I have a picture of it but can not seem to get it posted...

Sorry, but that number comes back as an "invalid serial number".

You have suggested 3061, 3059, 3063, 3065, 3057, 3055, and so on. None is correct.

Anyway, just want to let you know about this, and please keep up your good work.
