Lost Radio Code - post your request here

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm looking for the code for my Becker Radio (1999 Boxster).

Here are the details from the radio:

Becker CDR-220

Type:  4462

Ser:  X50 16657   (could be XS0 16657 I suppose. It does look like a 5 though.)

48/98

CD CDP2065

Thank you very much for your help!  :help:

Try 0525

Thank you!  It worked!

Totaled my 2001 Boxster S with an aftermarket radio in it.  Now I have the factory radio to sell.  I had the code written in the manual but it is gone now too.

I'd like to be able to include the code when I sell the radio.

Becker

Type:   CDR-220

Model: BE 4462

Serial: 15087489

I purchased a 2000 Boxster standard model.  The battery was dead, there is no owners manual and the car dealer did not have the code.  The radio either says "Enter Code" or "Wait".  I did as a former post suggested and held the TP button down and wow! a buch of different information was displayed.  Now what? It's a Becker CDR-220, Type 4462, SER #: Y5036064

Is there a place to look up the code or do I call the dealer.  Fremont Porsche tells me they can get the code for a mear $200.  For that price I will pull it out and throw it away.
