Just got my 996 back yesterday after an engine replacement.  Unfortunatly they disconnected the battery and now no more tunes.  The engine is nice to listen to finally so not that upset. :-)

Many thanks!

Hi Loren;

Can you help me with the radio code for my '00 Boxster.

Becker 1

Model: CDR-32

Type: 4667

SN: X5020085

Best regards.

Please READ the Lost Radio code FAQ

"CDR-23 (or later):

These radios do not have a security code - that is, not that the user enters.

These radios are security tested on the MOST (fiber optic bus) system to see if they are the "programmed" radio. The radios are programmed and recognized by the car’s DME and can only be replaced by a shop with a PST2 or PIWIS. These radios will not request a code when battery power is disconnected."

Hello, I have a used Porsche 911 Carrera which just had a new alternator installed and, as a result, I too need the authorization code for the radio/CD player. The radio's specs are as follows -

Radio: Becker1

Type: 4462

Serial: X5023280 -> 48/98

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
