Battery was disconnected, couldn't find the code so entered a couple of codes.  Now I've found the radio code card, but the radio no longer asking for a code; just shows a "T" (but then I've lost some lettering).  Maybe it just doesn't like the code number I have?

Serial No. BE 4462 X 5023905

(card says code is 0497, but its not working).

Hello,

I picked up a 2000 Boxster S a couple of months ago.  New battery and new fuel pump and now its running.  I would love to be able to check out the stereo.  Former owner told me it was written on a note in the console.  But he didn't tell me this until after my 2 year old emptied the console into the trash!

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
