Just bought a 2000 911 and I can't get into the radio.  The Type is 4462 and the serial is either X5030190 or XS030190 (hard to tell with the old school LCD readout).

Thanks for your help!  Can't wait to get some tunes going

Hello,

New, to me, car.  No radio code unfortunately.  Numbers are:   4462; Y504110

Followed the steps to get these, hopefully you have something for me!  Thanks!

It's a 2000 Boxster BTW

Try 0624

Thanks for the quick response, unfortunately those numbers don't work...and I tried it three times. So I'll be waiting for anymore combinations you may think will work. Thanks!

If you followed the instructions in the Lost Radio code FAQ and gave me the correct serial number then there is nothing more I can do for you.

If that is the serial number your radio reported then it is likely your radio has been repaired without following the Becker (the radio manufacturer's) procedures.

Well thanks Loren, I'm not sure about anything being repaired, as I bought the car a couple days ago, the dealer said they didn't have a code, I googled codes, and I found this site. So after the wait period is over, I will try to get those codes again to double check, but idk. Thanks though!

Alright...so the waiting period ended, tried again to no avail. Decided to double check instructions. I'm sorry, but the serial is actually Y5041100, with the 4462. I'm sorry I didn't put the second zero originally. I hope this is the reason the code you originally gave me isn't working :) thank you again! I have enjoyed very much the sound of the engine lately...

Well thanks again Loren, hat number worked! You provide a great service! :)

Hi, owned the car three weeks.  Came back from the shop and needs the radio code which I didn't get with the car.  Becker 1 CR 220 type 4362 SER (no alpha prefix) 15005073.

 2002 Carerra 2 Cab.

Many thanks.
