Hello Loren, seems you've helped many in the past. I hope you can help me.

Had my lock cylinder changed as it was broken. Guess the disconnected the battery and I can't find the radio code.

It's a 996, radio is a CDR 210, model 3297, serial W5024701.

Thanks!

Mark

Hi Loren,

Thank you much for this service! we'd all be in trouble without your help!  I recently took possession on my 914-6 and obtained a Becker CR210 out of my dad's 993.  They list it as CDR210 Model no-BE 2262 and Serial-No. is S5000228.  Hoping you can help me get the radio going!  Thanks again!

Hello everyone.  I'm a new (as in less than 24 hours) Porsche owner.  Nothing fancy but I'm proud to say I bought a 1999 996.  So far so good, but the radio is locked and the extremely helpful dealer helped me with what was supposed to be the correct radio code.  He stressed that if it was the original radio, the code was good but alas it doesn't appear to be so.  I hope someone will be able to help me and I greatly appreciate any assistance.

Having said that the radio is a CR-220 and the serial # is W5005185. I'm not sure if it matters or not, but it has a CD changer in the front "trunk" Can someone please help?  The dealer gave me a code of 8649 but that doesn't seem to work.

Thank you!!

Matt
