Hi Loren,

Sorry to bother you with this, but as I can see you are the person to ask, regarding radio codes.

When I purchased this car the previous owner never mentioned anything about the radio code.

It's only after I have replaced the battery last week that I have encountered this issue with the code.

I have a 986 Tiptronic.

The radio:

Type: CDR 220

Model No. BE 4462

Serial No. W5010344

12Volts EC:106

Part no. 996.645.126.00

I hope you can help me out, so looking forward to your reply,

Thanks in advance for your help on this.

Best regards, Barry

Hello. I have a 1998 boxter 986. Had to disconnect battery to put in a new one but now radio is asking for a 4 digit code. When i bought the car the manual was not with it or any info on the radio. I was hoping I might be able to get the code. Radio is Becker CDR 210 ,type 3297, serial no. V5015026.

Thank you
