Lost Radio Code - post your request here

Recommended Posts

Hi Loren,

I have a follow-up question.  As it turns out, my mechanic was using the wrong PIWIS! However, after switching to the correct PIWIS the system is asking for the code of the original radio.  I thought this is where the information we received from the dealership needs to be entered? Any advice how to proceed?

Thank you!

I think is asks that if you say you are replacing - rather than installing new.

Try removing the radio -- then installing new.

Hello,

Becker 1

Type: 4462

Ser: X5026359

48/98

I had a note next to my battery that said the radio code was 3812, although I assume the radio was switched prior to my purchase, since it doesn't work.

I would greatly appreciate an assist on this.

Thanks
