Hey guys, just picked up my first 911. 996 turbo. The radio needs a code and I do not have the card. Although the engine sound is music to my ears anyhow, it would be nice to have some tunes. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you very much! I’ll try this as soon as the wait message is gone. It’s been on for a while. Not sure how long it takes to go away.

Hi there,

New member, recently purchased a new to me 2001 Boxster S. Just unplugged the battery while doing a bunch of work: IMS, RMS, AOS, coolant tank, tranny mounts, axles, yada, yada, yada... I don't have the radio code in the manual booklet and could use some help.

Radio Model: CDR-220

Serial No.: Y5052144

thanks!

Hi Loren,

Radio ticks (like static), and I futzed with the battery cable (that ultimately needs to be replaced), but when finally connected, I'm now being asked for the code that I don't have. Hopefully you would be able to help! This is for 2002 911 C2.  Details as follows, pulled from the radio label itself:

Typ: CCR 220

Model No.: BE 6624

Serial No.: 15002804

12 Volt       EC: 102

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
