Purchased a used 2001 Boxster....loved it until I had to change the battery which was a chore in and of itself. Gotta love German engineering.....while rarely simple procedures, they cover all the bases.

Now I need the radio code and cannot find it in the documentation. The model number is CDR-220, type 4462. The radio serial number is 15064979. Can you help please?

Try 1401

or

1399

I had the front bumper replaced and now no radio :(

Pressing the TP button displays the following:

Ser1: X5020810

Type: 4467

CDP: 2081

I would be ever so grateful for a code.

Try 6721

or

6719

Thanks for this. I downloaded a car code decoder from a torrent site and it gives the same result. I have gone up and down by two as suggested all the way to 6735 and all they way down to 6711 with no luck. It's a painful process, all this waiting....

Does it look like a dealer visit is called for?
