Hi Loren - i have a 2002 996 with the following radio info (from the card):

CDC-3

21099850 (serial)

any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried some other codes i saw on this thread, but it locked the radio with the "WAIT" message. Any advice on clearing that and trying again, besides unhooking the battery?

CDC-3 is the CD Changer not the radio.

See the FAQ for how to read out the radio serial number.

Sorry - my mistake, was reading from the card in my owner's portfolio. Here's the info according to the deck itself:

CDR220

Type: 4362

Serial: 25007115

24/99

Thanks again for your help.
