Lost Radio Code - post your request here

Recommended Posts

If the 2 codes Loren gives for your becker radio doesn't work, head to http://www.beckerautosound.com/ and click "request code" button. Fill out the form and send in to becker with $30 on credit card, and you'll have your code and new code card. MUCH cheaper than going through the porsche dealer and no proof of ownership required.

My experiance with this: I filled out the form and used the email option. i also edited the form in bold letters at the top asking for the price on a set of keys to my radio incase i needed to pull it out again. i got an email back with in 24 hours stating my radio code for instant use and that they were mailing the keys along with my code card free of charge!! received both of those in about 2 days. good luck everyone.

Hi Loren,

Spring battery change on my 99 Boxster and no radio code, your help would be appreciated.

Per your directions radio info is:

Type 4462

Serial Number X5018984

Thank you for your time.

Mike

Try 7601

or

7599

Thank you, will give those a try. Need to "wait", which is a good reason to go for another drive today.

Thanks again. 7602 was the code, wrote it in the owners manual for the next time / owner.

Neither code worked nor did 2 above or 2 below. I appreciate your help, and I will contact Becker as your post suggests.

Loren,

Update: Becker sent me the code - it was 6947, just 1 above the code that you provided me. Thought that you may want to know for intel.

Thanks.

OK. Now I'm in the right place. Sorry about the other thread.

I lost my radio code when I changed the battery. Please Help.

Typ: CDR220

Mod: BE4462

SN: X5016959

These numbers are on both the loose sticker found in the bottom of the case, and from the read-out on the display.

?? Once the code is recovered, can it be brought up in the display in the future before disconnecting the power? Or do I need to resort to writing it down on the MFR sticker under the front hatch ----?

Thank You.

Brian.

Try 7277

or

7275

The number does not display in the radio (ever) - so you will need to write it down somewhere.

Loren,

I removed the battery for the winter, and upon replacing it I realized we never got the code when we bought the car second hand.

My info is as follows:

2002 Boxster

Type: CDR220-Cassette

Mod: BE4362

SN: 15003935

24/99

These numbers are from the read-out on the radio display.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Those two didn't work, but 0737 did!

Thank you so much for taking the time to help - what a great forum.

My local dealer wanted to charge me an hour labor to get the code.
