Hi Id really appreciate help with my code. Porsche supplied code doesnt work. Loaned car to brother in law and he/my father in law disconnected battery :( (actually my bil couldnt start the car so he got my fil to try a different battery -> the actual problem was the the car had been parked with the steering wheel turned and it was up against the steering lock - not actually a battery issue; all he had to do was get the wheel off the lock by turning it to take the pressure and it was fine!)

HI I don't have a radio code for my porsche and I don't know where to find the serial number or anything that is needed to get the code for my radio. I purchased a 2001 Porsche Bosxter couple days ago and the original owner didn't have it with them. Help? Thanks

Just suffered through removing the alternator to replace a broken oil fill pipe, and got a surprise from my radio once I was done. Followed the instructions and have this info:

CDR220

Model 4362

Serial 25006971

Any help is appreciated!

Hi Loren,

I don't need a code yet. The radio is working fine, but I did want to know Is the radio code printed on the bottom of the build sheet on the frunk lid? I just got my first Porsche, an 04 S about two weeks ago & just love it.

Not from the factory but sometimes an owner or tech write it there. Still not reliable as the radio may have been changed out.

Use the method in the Lost Radio Code FAQ
