I had to disconnect the battery to replace the ignition switch and now my 1999 Boxster needs the code entered and I don't have it (pretty much the normal story).

Did you follow the instructions in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get your serial number?

I am trying figure out what CR-210 owners are doing - because I have gotten many codes correctly and all of sudden they seem to be wrong.

Yes, I followed the steps, but I can go through it again to make sure I didn't mistype anything.

FYI - if you need your boxster radio code, the FIRST thing you should do is look under the front trunk hood, on the label opposite the hood badge, there is usually a hand written 4 digit code for the radio. Most dealers write it there, so check there first!

That's where I found mine and it worked!!
