Lost Radio Code - post your request here

Hi Loren,

Thank you so much for the fast response.  Last night when I tried it I transposed the numbers and entered 4648 and it went into the long lock mode.  I guess the PO must have tried the code noted in the manual, which didn't work for me either of course.  Now its just a waiting game.

Thanks again.

Hello Loren

I unhooked my battery and the Nav code that is in my book is not the PCM1 code that I have to first enter.  I don't have the first code, but I have the Nav code(I hope its right).  Do the code generators work if you have one of the codes?  I did read the FAQ and it says you can't get the PCM1, but what if I have the Nav code?

My serial is 15010388 I used a generator and got 4610, but that didn't work.  Maybe it is I5010388, I tried that and came up with the same code of 4610.  THanks for any help you can provide.

Please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ for a list radios we can decode.

"Can you give me a code for my PCM?

These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/OPC. The PCM’s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested.

Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/OPC."

I need a code for type 4462 serial # X5036878. I just purchased my 2000 Porsche Boxster and the salesman told me he would get the code for my radio on Monday, but I would like to find it this weekend if possible. Thank You for any help you can offer.

I guess I posted my request in the wrong area.  According to your FAQ's, a Becker CR 210 code can be derived from the serial number.

I recently had my fading battery changed and then realized I can't find the radio code.  I have 1992 968 cabriolet.  My daily driver and now missing my tunes.  I have a Becker CR 210 cassette player.  I think the model is R2095, but I'm not really sure about that number.  The S/N is Y5003159.  Any help with the missing code would be greatly appreciated.
