Alarm siren / horn replacement

Recommended Posts

Hi all

so my alarm siren is dead (probably water caused it) and so have replacement - however the actual job of replacing is crazy

i know the siren resides under the fuse/relay carrier on the U.K. passenger side. But actually getting to it is almost impossible

so I can see that you need to unclip the fuse and relay boards and then somehow Unclip those coloured blocks which then allows you to remove the top half of the relay carrier, move cables out the way and then finally remove the bottom part of the carrier to finally get access to the siren

question - has anybody actually ever achieved this? Anyone have video walkthroughs or workshop repair details ?

in particular info on the removal of the relay carrier box is needed - how to unclip those coloured blocks and how to just get the cables out the way

someone somewhere must have done this as it’s so common - just need some info of how to get that **** relay box moved
