I have the clear bra on my 996CAB and had the front bumper, hood, and fenders done. Absolutely love it. Very easy to maintain and have NO rock chips. Especially love it when I track the car.

But......the clear bra is one of those things like tires and exhaust. Totally subjective and what one person loves, another hates.

Go with your gut.

I have it on my C4, Cayenne, & the RX-7. I scheduled the installation before I took delivery of my 05 Cayenne and have it installed the next day after I had the car to have the protection asap. Like LVDell said, it is very personal. I love it and I will put it on my next car.

I have it on both cars and wouldn't be without it. The skills of the installer are equally as important as the material IMO, and if you don't like it (or anyone interested in buying the car down the road), it can be removed withoiut paint damage, leaving effectively new panels.

Quality of the installer is the most important. If you get shotty work it will look so cheap (orange peel, wrinkles, bad cuts, eneven, discoloration, etc.). I paid about $1K for mine and it was worth every penny. You can't even tell that it is on.

AS long as it is "touched-up" nicely (i.e., paint, clear, buff, polish). What you don't want is obvious touch ups because they will be inaccessible once the clear bra is on. Just make sure that the chip is touched up even with the rest of the paint job. Avoid craters or bumps.
